Adding multimedia...trial run

I am trying to write a blog post that includes  multimedia content.  I am going to include a photo from my own files:

This is my beautiful daughter, Gwendolyn, who doesn't know that I am using a picture of her in my blog!

My husband absolutely loves this precious little girl and her enthusiasm for telling the stories of the Bible.  We all quote her fairly often in our family.

That was much easier than I thought it would be.  Hmmm...maybe I will be able to use this blog more than I thought....link to my Facebook account or not?  Would anyone be interested at all?  Could be an opportunity for rejection...benefits v. risks...in the back of my mind I keep hearing my mom and other voices telling me to be careful about putting too much of my personal information online...always a concern for me, but I don't want to be too afraid to miss an opportunity to share with others.
